Wonda Cleaning — Terms & Conditions of Service

1. General Framework & Bookings

1.1 Agreement: By booking any service with Wonda Cleaning via our website, phone, email, or WhatsApp, you explicitly agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once Wonda Cleaning has issued a confirmation message or email and any required booking deposit has been processed.
2. Pricing, Quotes, & Condition Variations

2.1 Base Quotes: All quotes provided are estimates based on standard room sizes and normal property usage.

2.2 Condition Surcharges: If our team arrives and encounters extreme conditions that were not disclosed (e.g., heavy hoarding, severe pet waste, or intensive post-builders debris), we reserve the right to amend the price quote on-site or cancel the clean entirely, forfeiting your deposit.

2.3 Utilities Requirement: The client must provide constant running hot water and electricity. If our team cannot clean due to missing utilities, the job will be cancelled and billed as a lock-out (100% fee).
3. Payment Terms

3.1 Residential & One-Off Deep Cleans: Payment must be cleared in full via bank transfer or online payment link at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled cleaning start time.

3.2 Commercial Accounts: Invoices for ongoing contract services are issued on agreed intervals and are strictly payable within 7 days of the invoice date.
4. Cancellation & Lock-Out Policy
We operate a strict cancellation window to protect our staff's schedules and travel routing across London, Essex, and Kent:

More than 48 hours notice: Free cancellation or rescheduling.

24 to 48 hours notice: A fee equal to 50% of the total service quote will be charged.

Less than 24 hours notice or Lock-Out: A fee equal to 100% of the total service quote will be charged.

Lock-Out Definition: If our team arrives and cannot gain access within 20 minutes of the scheduled time due to missing keys, incorrect access codes, or unresponsive contacts, it will be logged as a lock-out and charged in full.
5. End of Tenancy Deep Clean Guarantee

5.1 Exclusions: Our standard End of Tenancy cleaning follows an agency-approved checklist but does not automatically include carpet machine cleaning, upholstery cleaning, or external window washing unless specifically added to your invoice as a separate line item.

5.2 48-Hour Reclean Window: If an estate agent or landlord flags any area on our checklist as unsatisfactory during an inventory check, we will return to reclean that specific area free of charge.

5.3 Vacancy Rule: The reclean guarantee is only valid if the property remains entirely vacant between our team leaving and the landlord’s inspection. We accept zero liability if movers, tenants, or building contractors enter the property after our exit.
6. Liability & Property Exclusions

6.1 Insurance: Wonda Cleaning is fully covered by public liability insurance up to industry standards.

6.2 Pre-existing Damage: We accept no liability for damage to old, fragile, or improperly installed fixtures (e.g., loose cupboard doors, unanchored curtain rails, or unstable shelving).

6.3 Fragile Surfaces: The client must notify us in writing before the clean begins regarding any high-value, delicate, or specialized surfaces (such as unsealed marble or porous wood) that require non-standard care.

6.4 Heavy Lifting: For health and safety reasons, our cleaners are restricted from moving furniture or appliances weighing over 20kg. We will clean behind heavy items only if the client moves them prior to our arrival.
7. Non-Solicitation of Staff

7.1 Private Hiring Ban: The client agrees not to directly or indirectly hire, employ, or contract any cleaner introduced to them by Wonda Cleaning for private services outside of our business platform.

7.2 Duration & Penalty: This restriction remains active during all active services and for a period of 12 months following the termination of any service agreement. Direct hiring breaches will result in a standard liquidation compensation fee of £2,000 payable to Wonda Cleaning.
8. Governing Law

8.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Any formal legal disputes will be handled solely within the English court system.
